Hot on the heels of their blockbuster movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel Comics is doing a little cross-promotion. Hence the new monthly series, Rocket Raccoon, starring the fast-talking, gun-toting rodent from the Guardians film. Issue #1 finds Rocket in dire straits. This protector of the cosmos is branded an intergalactic criminal and must go on the run from friend and foe alike. Hijinks, a wrestling match, and a little hilarity ensue.

 

Illustrated by Skottie Young in a child-friendly style, parents should note this comic is rated “T” which Marvel advises is “Recommended for our teen and adult readers.”
