What a day!

Early wake up with French toast and sausage per request.

Off to school with a home packed lunch and a few extra treats.

Picked up from school and straight to his sister’s volleyball game.

A few errands in town that took longer than planned.

Home to left-overs from Texas Roadhouse the night before.

A quick round of a few presents that weren’t even wrapped.

On to ice cream cake without Aly who was still at volleyball games.

Rush to a really, really long pack meeting where he  received several pins, belt loops, Weebelos Badge, Religious Knot, and Arrow of Light.

Headed home to finish a lot of homework, AND…

While giving hugs and kisses good night, I asked with hesitation, “Did you have a good birthday?”

His reply, “No mom” and after a long pause and hug, “It was fantastic!”

I love this boy!  Happy Birthday Justin
