A little late, but better than never….

I love being a mother!

Thank you to my kids and to Ethan for a wonderful day…

I was spoiled with a fabulous breakfast of an omlet with fresh strawberries and hot chocolate topped with whipping cream.  We had a wonderful afternoon together and for dinner we had fajiitas with homemade tortillas.  Thanks for making it a special day!

And, what a wonderful example I have of motherhood from my own mom.  She is and always will be someone that I look up to and admire.  She has always been a great example to me not just in what she teaches by word, but by action.  Her qualites of service and compassion with stick with me forever.  I love you mom!

It seems to have happened over night and really just in the last week. The kids have had their lambs now for about a week and I am thinking this 4-H project was more for me than them! The kids do love their lambs, but I find myself making my way out to pay them a visit several times a day. When I think back to my days of working for Hayward Baker, I have a lot of fond memories of working with some pretty cool guys on some pretty cool projects.
